Meghna Group of Industries is the parent company for Unique Cement Industries Limited established in Bangladesh in 2001 and now the second largest cement producer in the country. The capacity of the company is 12000tpd with the plants equipped with the latest technology and energy efficient closed-circuit ball mill and polycom grinding facilities installed by German engineers.
Now the group is running 30 industrial units on more than 350 acres of land. Meghna Group of Industries has been marketing cement commodities chemical fish and poultry feeds power plant other bulk and industrial product under the brand name Fresh Number One and Pure.
Meghna Group of Industries was started cement manufacturing business in 2002 under the brand name Fresh Cement. This is obtained by intimately mixing together calcareous and argillaceous materials burning them at clinker temperature up to about 1450 degree celsius and grinding the resulting clinker calcined product at required fineness and finally mixed with gypsum to obtain cement.
